OUR STORY

Benefit Pet, which started as Benefit Biscuits, was founded in 2016 by Chris, Marissa, and Nick, as college students attending the University of Portland. What originally started as a school project, quickly grew into something more—the team realized the potential of their product and put their noses to the grindstone, selling their treats at farmers markets in Oregon. They soon expanded outside the capacity of their home kitchen and partnered with a local baker to help bake the treats.
