Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols, policies, and procedures.

Participate in case discussions, clinical meetings, and rounds, offering pharmaceutical insights.

Ensure that the organization complies with all pharmaceutical regulations, including those related to controlled substances.

Advise on the proper storage, handling, and disposal of medications.

Assist in preparing for regulatory inspections or audits.

Quality Improvement:

Identify opportunities for improvement in medication therapy management and patient outcomes.

Participate in initiatives to reduce medication errors and improve the safety and effectiveness of pharmacological treatments.

Stay updated with the latest pharmaceutical practices, research, and trends to continually enhance the quality of care.

Provide training to healthcare staff on medication-related topics, including new therapies, drug interactions, and pharmaceutical technologies.

Develop educational materials for patients, caregivers, or staff on safe medication practices.
